Balboa Park This park is one of the city's prized tourist destination. With a free admission during Tuesdays, you will be treated to picturesque gardens and Spanish architectures. Bring along some food and your picnic paraphernalia so you can further enjoy the ambiance with your loved ones. If not, you can visit any one of their numerous museums. In the Botanical Building and Lily Pond, you will get to see a large collection of tropical plants. Also, watch out for their seasonal flower displays, which will make your lovely experience even lovelier. Timken Museum of Art, on the other hand, houses Putnam Foundation Collection of Europe. You can also find here both American and Russian art. Finally, you can enjoy Speckles Organ Pavilion, which hosts free year-round concerts on Sundays at 2:00.
